landscape storyboard ideas

Some sketches of picket fences that i will include in my storyboard landscape scene, based on the fictional novel 'Husband'
Cedar Shingles for the roof of the bungalow that I will be portraying in the final scene.
The front porch of the home described in my chosen novel has trumpet vines on the supports, this was an attempt to learn how to draw the trumpet vines, combining the colours with graphite pencil.
The Californian pepper tree is also said to be in the scene, i chose to do some practices on the tree in water colours and coloured pencils, also shading pencils.
These are a few ideas that i had for the bungalow that will be the center point of the scene.

The final scene that i intend to compose will include the pepper tree next to the driveway of the house, there will be the picket fence surrounding the garden and entrance onto the front porch, where the trumpet vine will be swirled around the support beams. The roof will be cedar wood and clapboard will decorate the walls of the bungalow. the last element will be the garage added onto the side of the house.

  1. Nice work dude.Planning is the key! Take a plot plan with elevations and water flow arrows. Be sure to make note of your home gutters or drip guards. Try to form curves in your landscape, rounded edges adds powerful interest.
